About the role

Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers to troubleshoot and resolve highly complex product problems via telephone or internet.
  • Diagnose issues related to system configurations, product functionality, SQL Server, and HL7.
  • Track and document inbound support requests, ensuring proper notation of customer problems and solutions.
  • Create documentation to train lower-level support staff on addressing specific product issues.
  • Communicate with the product development department to identify design flaws and suggest improvements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current technology, product design changes, and new offerings.
  • Participate in after-hours and on-call support as required.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in application or product support.
  • Proficiency in SQL queries, MS SQL Server, and T-SQL.
  • Basic understanding of Windows Server environments.
  • Hands-on experience managing healthcare interfaces using HL7.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills regarding performance-related issues.
  • Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Experience interacting with international clients.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of healthcare-related applications, terminology, and patient care environments.
  • Microsoft or industry-specific certifications related to SQL, Server technologies, or Health Care Informatics.
  • Knowledge of configuring and using Sunrise applications or components.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively to meet deadlines in a customer-centric environment.
