About the role
Responsibilities
- Interact with customers to troubleshoot and resolve highly complex product problems via telephone or internet.
- Diagnose issues related to system configurations, product functionality, SQL Server, and HL7.
- Track and document inbound support requests, ensuring proper notation of customer problems and solutions.
- Create documentation to train lower-level support staff on addressing specific product issues.
- Communicate with the product development department to identify design flaws and suggest improvements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current technology, product design changes, and new offerings.
- Participate in after-hours and on-call support as required.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in application or product support.
- Proficiency in SQL queries, MS SQL Server, and T-SQL.
- Basic understanding of Windows Server environments.
- Hands-on experience managing healthcare interfaces using HL7.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills regarding performance-related issues.
- Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Experience interacting with international clients.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of healthcare-related applications, terminology, and patient care environments.
- Microsoft or industry-specific certifications related to SQL, Server technologies, or Health Care Informatics.
- Knowledge of configuring and using Sunrise applications or components.
- Ability to multi-task effectively to meet deadlines in a customer-centric environment.
