Technical Supply Chain Manager

Red 6 is an innovative Augmented Reality (AR) technology startup leading the way in synthetic air combat training. Their primary technology enables pilots to simulate the cognitive challenges of flying while accessing realistic, scalable training in dynamic outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage the technical supply chain for complex aerospace electromechanical products
• Lead sourcing strategies for internal builds and contract manufacturer production
• Manage the blended Approved Manufacturer List (AML) strategy
• Act as the primary technical supply chain interface between Red 6 and contract manufacturing partners
• Partner with Quality to ensure suppliers meet traceability and aerospace compliance requirements
• Support design teams with supplier capability assessments during product development

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in technical supply chain management or sourcing in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability electronics
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials, or a related field
• Experience managing supply chains for PCBAs, cables/harnesses, and mechanical assemblies
• Proven experience working with contract manufacturers
• Strong understanding of aerospace quality standards and traceability
• Ability to obtain a security clearance (requires U.S. Citizenship)
• Willingness to travel to supplier and CM facilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting DOD or aerospace production programs
• Familiarity with AS9100 quality environments
• Experience managing custom component supply chains
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain analytics tools
• Background in electromechanical aerospace systems or avionics hardware
