About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage analytical activities, teams, and results technically and administratively
  • Sign analytical reports, certificates, and laboratory documents
  • Supervise and approve analytical methods, SOPs, and work instructions
  • Ensure calibration, maintenance, and traceability of critical equipment
  • Supervise internal quality control including standards, blanks, and control charts
  • Respond technically to internal and external audits and handle non-conformities
  • Ensure compliance with chemical safety, waste disposal, and regulated product control
  • Guide, supervise, and identify training needs for the technical team
  • Participate in inter-laboratory proficiency testing programs
  • Maintain active CRQ registration and issue/renew ART as required
  • Execute laboratory administrative tasks

Requirements

  • Higher education degree completed
  • Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields recognized by CRQ
  • Active CRQ registration
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Intermediate English proficiency
