About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage analytical activities, teams, and results technically and administratively
- Sign analytical reports, certificates, and laboratory documents
- Supervise and approve analytical methods, SOPs, and work instructions
- Ensure calibration, maintenance, and traceability of critical equipment
- Supervise internal quality control including standards, blanks, and control charts
- Respond technically to internal and external audits and handle non-conformities
- Ensure compliance with chemical safety, waste disposal, and regulated product control
- Guide, supervise, and identify training needs for the technical team
- Participate in inter-laboratory proficiency testing programs
- Maintain active CRQ registration and issue/renew ART as required
- Execute laboratory administrative tasks
Requirements
- Higher education degree completed
- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields recognized by CRQ
- Active CRQ registration
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Intermediate English proficiency
