Technical Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the day-to-day activities of the technical team during the 3rd shift to ensure efficient production and machinery utilization.
• Plan labor assignments and schedules to ensure the most cost-effective use of human and material resources.
• Ensure a safe working environment that exceeds OSHA requirements and follows all corporate policies and government regulations.
• Provide continuous instruction to technical personnel on proper techniques and procedures.
• Handle supervisory responsibilities including training, work performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
• Partner with other leaders to maintain balanced workflow and efficient resource utilization.
• Monitor product quality and ensure all manufacturing activities meet or exceed applicable standards.
• Identify and implement procedures to reduce costs, eliminate waste, and improve overall efficiency.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous frontline leadership or supervisory experience in an industrial setting (e.g., Coordinator, Supervisor, or Lead).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Four-year college degree.
