About the role
Responsibilities
- Model thermal cycles, combustion, and energy recovery processes (GTA, heat pumps, waste heat recovery) to optimize plant performance
- Provide technical field support to operators for technical, operational, and regulatory monitoring
- Participate in strategic projects such as turbine replacement and CO2 capture
- Support tender responses by establishing thermal balances, estimating costs, and writing technical memorandums
- Contribute to the development of digital tools, AI, and data analysis for Industry 4.0
- Lead energy reviews following ISO 50001 methodology
Requirements
- Engineer degree or Bac+5 in process engineering
- 2 to 4 years of professional experience (junior profiles are welcome)
- Mastery of thermodynamic calculations, boilers, combustion, and steam cycles
- Proficiency in modeling tools, specifically Excel
- Knowledge of electricity, electromechanics, and automation
- Strong field orientation and ability to solve concrete technical problems
- Analytical mindset and structured approach to complex processes
