Technical Studies Engineer (Energy Recovery)

Responsibilities

• Model thermal cycles, combustion, and energy recovery processes (GTA, heat pumps, waste heat recovery) to optimize plant performance
• Provide technical field support to operators for technical, operational, and regulatory monitoring
• Participate in strategic projects such as turbine replacement and CO2 capture
• Support tender responses by establishing thermal balances, estimating costs, and writing technical memorandums
• Contribute to the development of digital tools, AI, and data analysis for Industry 4.0
• Lead energy reviews following ISO 50001 methodology

Requirements

• Engineer degree or Bac+5 in process engineering
• 2 to 4 years of professional experience (junior profiles are welcome)
• Mastery of thermodynamic calculations, boilers, combustion, and steam cycles
• Proficiency in modeling tools, specifically Excel
• Knowledge of electricity, electromechanics, and automation
• Strong field orientation and ability to solve concrete technical problems
• Analytical mindset and structured approach to complex processes
