About the role
Responsibilities
- Review manufacturers’ catalogs and selection software for compliance with AMCA publications
- Liaise with member company marketing departments to ensure the integrity of technical marketing information
- Participate in Standards Development by working with engineering committees to develop ANSI-accredited test standards
- Support laboratory accreditation activities by evaluating manufacturer testing capabilities and understanding the physics behind test standards
- Utilize data analysis, automation, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to improve technical review, data handling, and operational efficiency
- Assist in developing automated workflows and AI-assisted tools related to catalog review and test data analysis
- Collaborate closely with laboratory technicians, engineering staff, and industry professionals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- 10+ years of professional experience
- Direct experience with HVAC systems and selection processes
- High proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Proven experience in research or managing technical projects
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with technical professionals and customers
