Technical Staff-Network Architect

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of end-to-end AI network architecture, including GPU-to-GPU, server-to-storage, in-rack cabling, and optical design at the datacenter level.
• Drive Network and Fabric design based on customer requirements, addressing InfiniBand, Ethernet, Accelerated Fabric Link (AFL), and other scalable topologies.
• Optimize network topology and configurations to maximize the performance of large-scale AI clusters for training and inferencing.
• Develop networking software, solutions, and architectures that integrate seamlessly with AI frameworks and applications.
• Collaborate with key external partners to create differentiated, high-performance solutions.
• Engage with high-profile AI customers to optimize solutions and tune systems for maximum performance.

Requirements

• Expert understanding of key networking technologies, including switches, Network Interface Cards (NIC), Data Processing Units (DPU), and AI Fabrics.
• Proven experience with AI framework integration (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Kubernetes for ML workloads).
• Extensive experience in data center network design and optical distribution.
• Deep knowledge of networking protocol industry standards.
• Experience in customer and partner project or program leadership, with the ability to assess requirements and prioritize deliverables.
• Ability to travel 20%-30%.

Preferred Qualifications

• 15+ years of industry experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent skill set.
• Established relationships with key suppliers of networking products.
