Technical Staff Engineer - Software

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance software applications using C/C++ and Qt frameworks
• Utilize advanced Python and scripting languages (Bash, Perl, or PowerShell) to automate workflows and enhance build processes
• Manage and upgrade GCC compiler toolchains to ensure cross-platform compatibility and optimal performance
• Work extensively with MSVC and Linux system libraries to deliver robust cross-platform solutions
• Develop and maintain build systems using tools such as gmake and Bazel
• Integrate and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or Bitbucket
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality software
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 12+ years of relevant software engineering experience
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development specifically with C/C++
• Extensive experience with Qt application development
• Advanced proficiency in Python and other scripting languages
• Strong knowledge of MSVC libraries and Linux system libraries
• Proven expertise in managing GCC compiler upgrades and build toolchains
• Proficiency in build tools such as gmake and Bazel
• Exposure to CI/CD software such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Bitbucket
