About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for the Enterprise Flash Controller product line through all phases of silicon ASIC development.
- Architect and execute emulation strategies for complex SoC devices exceeding 300M gates.
- Develop next-generation Data Center Storage products, including enterprise-class NVMe SSD controllers.
- Build and maintain emulation platforms with design variants and evaluate new emulation platforms.
- Develop Simulation Acceleration testbenches using Cadence Palladium flow and support emulation bring-up and post-silicon debug.
- Work on UVM-based testbench architecture, test plan development, simulation, and coverage.
- Develop synthesizable Bus Functional Models (BFM) for various protocols and interfaces used in SoC design.
- Debug and root cause design, testbench, and emulation platform related issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
- 12+ years of relevant industry experience in ASIC development and emulation.
- Proven experience with PCIe-based Enterprise Flash Controller design.
- Proficiency with emulation platforms, specifically Cadence Palladium or Protium.
- Deep understanding of SoC/ASIC emulation and verification flows.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ARM, RISC-V, or MIPS CPUs.
- Knowledge of PCIe, DDR, and ONFI/Toggle NAND protocols.
- Experience with industry standard protocols such as AMBA AXI, SAS, and DDR4/5.
- Experience with on-chip interconnect and cache coherency.
