Technical Specialist - Tooling

Responsibilities

• Support procurement activities for tooling equipment, consumables, services, and CAPEX across the UAE and the region
• Evaluate, negotiate, and onboard suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery
• Conduct receiving inspections to ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards
• Monitor inventory levels, maintain optimal stock, and support urgent project requirements through rapid local sourcing
• Collaborate with internal departments to forecast tooling needs and support localization initiatives
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive supplier database and evaluate vendor capabilities

Requirements

• 3-4 years of procurement experience, preferably in tooling, energy sector, or workshop environments
• Strong knowledge of tooling equipment and consumables
• Proficiency with procurement systems and documentation
• Exposure to ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in multicultural teams
