Technical Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide US Navy S&T technical evaluation and analysis to support the ONR Global Experimentation & Operational Analysis Department Head.
• Develop and execute Data Collection and Analysis Plans (DCAP) for all Technology Operational Experimentation Events (TOEE).
• Develop mathematical models to assess technology performance in operational scenarios.
• Conduct technical evaluations and cost/benefit analyses of proposed technologies to ensure alignment with government budgets and strategic priorities.
• Prepare weekly status reports on technical progress and future plans for E&A funded projects.
• Represent E&A project data and priorities at Program Officer Portfolio Reviews and NRE Technical Exchange Sessions.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Material, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Active US Government security clearance (Top Secret preferred).
• US citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of Experimentation Planning and Operations Research methods (Modeling and Simulation, Wargaming, etc.).
• Experience providing decision support for S&T investments within the Naval Research Enterprise (NRE).
• Strong communication skills to build relationships with program officers, science advisors, and warfighters.
• Ability to produce high-quality technical execution reports and manage collaboration sites.
