About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide US Navy S&T technical services to the ONR Global Director of TechSolutions
- Perform technical analysis to evaluate prototype technology investments and quantify technology maturity
- Evaluate technical proposals and whitepapers to identify technical merits
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including Fleet/Force Operators and Technical Developers, to validate operational needs
- Represent the TechSolutions Program during technical exchange sessions and portfolio reviews
- Manage technical documentation, including project reports, monthly technical reports, and blog content updates
- Research strategic guidance from Navy and Marine Corps leadership to align the TechSolutions portfolio with operational priorities
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Material, or Industrial Engineering (or a related field)
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience
- Active Security Clearance
- U.S. citizenship
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a US Navy Surface Warfare Officer, US Navy Submarine Officer, or Pilot in Command of a US Navy/Marine Corps Tactical Aircraft
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Department of the Navy Acquisition Program Office or Systems Command
- Working knowledge of the Naval Research and Development Establishment (NR&DE) community
- Strong communication skills for building relationships with ONR Program Officers, Science Advisors, and warfighters
