Technical Specialist, Range Extended Electric Vehicle

Responsibilities

• Perform technical causal analysis to resolve complex product issues identified in production and customer remarks
• Conduct functional and feature validation to ensure conformity of production
• Support corrective action development and monitor implementation effectiveness
• Create standard operations for equipment in the Vehicle Analysis Center
• Lead and provide training to general assembly staff on quality standards and VDA requirements
• Support vehicle launches and production ramp-ups

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience)
• 5+ years of professional experience in automotive production and quality control
• Hands-on experience with technical analysis of electrical, software, and mechanical systems
• In-depth knowledge of automotive processes, assembly tools, and materials
• Proficiency in DMAIC methodologies
• Experience with VDA standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Quality Management software
• Valid driver's license and passport

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with hybrid drive systems
• Greenfield or Brownfield automotive facility launch experience
• Six Sigma Greenbelt or Blackbelt certification
