Technical Specialist

Responsibilities

• Own and review regulatory reporting to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal and external requirements
• Support day-to-day dealing activities, including trade execution and operational processing
• Act as a technical escalation point for complex operational queries across dealing, registration, and corporate actions
• Strengthen first-line risk and control processes, including error management and incident investigation
• Deliver against KPI/KRI targets and proactively identify risks to maintain service standards
• Support change initiatives and continuous improvement programmes to ensure operational readiness
• Oversee technical compliance, including the management of reporting, audits, and control frameworks

Requirements

• Strong investment operations experience within a wealth management or platform environment
• Hands-on dealing and trading experience (critical requirement)
• Previous experience in an operations or team leadership capacity
• Solid understanding of end-to-end platform propositions, from retail clients to asset servicing
• Strong technical knowledge of investment operations processes, including dealing, cash, registration, or corporate actions
• Good understanding of risk, controls, and regulatory frameworks within financial services
• Demonstrated experience in a client-focused role delivering against service standards
