Technical Specialist

Responsibilities

• Create scalable solutions for data management, including metadata management and reusable data quality frameworks
• Develop robust APIs to facilitate efficient data retrieval and manipulation from internal and external sources
• Design and implement self-service workflows to enhance the accessibility of the data management platform
• Collaborate with product owners to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Provide technical direction to data engineers and mentor junior team members to foster technical excellence
• Implement DevOps pipelines and ensure automated deployment of data management solutions
• Monitor system performance and reliability, proactively optimizing for efficiency
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, such as GenAI, to enhance existing frameworks

Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech. or M.C.A. in Computer Science
• 7+ years of relevant industry experience
• Strong proficiency in Python and its ecosystems (Pandas, Requests, Flask, FastAPI)
• Experience with AWS cloud services including EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Experience with Jenkins pipelines and the full SDLC cycle
• Proven ability to work with multi-cultural and geographically disparate teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with database systems such as Oracle, AWS RDS, or DynamoDB
• Ability to implement Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Knowledge of Unix scripting and Windows platforms
• Understanding of Data Management concepts and their implementation using Python
