Technical Specialist - Facility Management

Responsibilities

• Ensure technically correct, standard, and legally compliant processing of complex technical topics
• Build and maintain preventive maintenance and inspection calendars according to legal and contractual requirements
• Manage asset registers, data quality, and documentation of inspection reports
• Maintain a defect and risk register, prioritizing and tracking issues until resolution
• Evaluate offers, specifications, and invoices, providing repair and replacement recommendations
• Supervise maintenance, inspections, and special measures in the field
• Manage suppliers, including qualification checks and on-site inductions
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring faults and initiate stabilization measures
• Support technical project management with documentation and scope for large-scale measures
• Act as a technical contact for authorities, insurance companies, and auditors
• Create reports and KPIs regarding maintenance, defects, and recurring issues

Requirements

• Completed technical training or degree
• Experience in technical facility management or a specialized trade
• Knowledge of legal and normative requirements (e.g., operator responsibility)
• Experience in ensuring and controlling maintenance and inspections
• Strong technical analysis and documentation skills
• Technical specialization in areas such as TGA, fire protection, elevators, or electrical engineering
• Knowledge of contract and service provider management
