Technical Specialist, Database Administration

Responsibilities

• Provision virtual and physical Windows Servers using Hyper-V or VMWare
• Support and administer Citrix environments, as well as virtual and physical Windows servers
• Maintain and support company print and file servers
• Serve as 2nd level support for Incident Management processes related to servers and Citrix
• Follow Change Management processes for new implementations or environment changes
• Participate in problem analysis to contribute to remediation and preventive measures
• Develop technical documentation and work instructions for assigned IT services
• Collaborate with other IT areas to provide training and knowledge transfer

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field
• Proficiency with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Windows, and Linux
• Fluency in English
• Ability to participate in on-call rotations

Preferred Qualifications

• 10 years of professional experience
• Extensive experience as a DBA with Oracle, SQL, and PostgreSQL
