About the role
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve critical support problems using remote desktop software
- Interact with customers via phone and email to address sophisticated, time-critical issues
- Perform root cause analysis and recreate problems in-house to identify software bugs
- Work independently and collaboratively to provide solutions for enterprise-level customers
- Contribute to the Solutions Engine, online forums, and participate in product BETA testing
Requirements
- 2+ years of technical or customer support experience
- Detailed knowledge of storage technology administration and troubleshooting
- Solid understanding of SAN, NAS, and backup theory/design
- Proficiency in networking, TCP/IP, DNS, and Microsoft clustering technologies
- Proficiency in one of the following languages: German, French, Italian, or Spanish
- Strong multitasking, prioritization, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with backup software such as Veritas, Symantec, VEEAM, or NetBackup
- Linux skills
- Experience addressing enterprise-level environments
