Technical Solar Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 8 to 12 Technical Support Experts to ensure performance metrics are met
• Conduct bi-weekly 1:1 check-ins to manage performance, questions, and concerns
• Provide coaching and feedback to teammates on diagnosing and troubleshooting solar PV systems
• Oversee administrative tasks including timesheet approvals and time-off requests
• Partner with leadership on semi-annual reviews and quality assessments
• Identify process challenges and collaborate on improving training content and knowledge bases
• Orchestrate day-to-day team tasks and ensure training goals are achieved

Requirements

• Fluency in both English and Spanish for customer communication via phone and email
• 2+ years of solar PV experience, including knowledge of system design, installation, and maintenance
• 3-5 years of experience in technical support or customer service
• 6+ months of formal or 12+ months of informal leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of solar inverters, panels, mounting systems, and monitoring software
• Highly organized with strong interpersonal and proactive communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce Service Cloud
• Technical or electrical certifications
• Proven track record of resolving complex technical issues and system optimization
