Technical Software Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of complex embedded software projects within scope and budget
• Deploy PMP methodologies to define project charters, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication
• Prepare project schedules, analyze critical paths, and monitor progress
• Lead and mentor a team of 15–20 engineers, including resource allocation and performance evaluations
• Act as Scrum Master, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and backlog grooming
• Translate business requirements into actionable technical user stories
• Conduct architectural reviews for C and C++ systems
• Oversee development in Linux System Control (LSC) and embedded platforms
• Interface with hardware teams to ensure seamless software-hardware integration

Requirements

• 8 to 20 years of professional experience
• Proficiency in C/C++, Linux Kernels, RTOS, Embedded, RTL, and Python
• PMP Certification
• CSM Certification with deep understanding of Kanban and Scrum
• Proven experience with MS Project, Jira, or Confluence
• Experience managing teams of 15+ people, including remote or offshore resources
• Ability to communicate low-level technical hurdles to non-technical executives
