Technical Shop Floor Support

Responsibilities

• Assess manufacturing non-conformities and create specific work orders for production rework
• Provide technical support to the production facility, including oversight of directed changes
• Incorporate implicit knowledge into work instructions to ensure accurate production information
• Implement and manage continuous improvement measures to address recurring non-conformities
• Participate in risk and opportunity management to identify and mitigate upcoming technical or legal risks
• Respond to technical queries from various departments and explain work orders or engineering drawings
• Validate assembly tools and equipment to ensure geometric tolerances and process efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering, or Engineering Technology
• 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (Aerospace industry experience preferred)
• Strong problem-solving abilities and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Ability to work onsite in Kinston, NC, and potentially across different shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of aircraft structure installation
• Working knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering tool sets such as SAP or MES
• Basic proficiency in Spanish or French
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and practices
