About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in computer vision to develop algorithms for tracking and matching objects across uncoordinated video sensor feeds.
- Support the full research program lifecycle, including development, source selection, execution, and transition.
- Attend meetings, workshops, conferences, and testing events to provide technical expertise.
- Act as a liaison between performers, Test & Evaluation contributors, government agencies, and transition partners.
- Review and provide technical analysis and recommendations for technical reports, data, and performer approaches.
- Examine emerging technologies and data sources related to the program.
- Assist with the development of program management reviews and technical presentations.
Requirements
- Active and maintained TS/SCI security clearance with a polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree in physics, mathematics, computer science, or a relevant engineering field.
- 5+ years of experience in computer vision research and development (R&D).
- 2+ years of R&D experience in machine learning and deep learning.
- 2+ years of experience managing multidisciplinary R&D or Test & Evaluation (T&E) teams, including experience with program plans, WBS, and milestone schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in physics, mathematics, computer science, or a relevant engineering field.
- Experience with large spatiotemporal data architectures or deploying computer vision analytics at scale.
- Experience with video re-identification, geo-localization, or OpenMPF.
- Experience managing large-scale video collection, annotation, or IRB-approved video collection.
- Experience with video collection from security, airborne, and mobile sensors.
- Excellent technical writing, editing, and PowerPoint skills.
