Technical Services Representative - Automotive Finishes

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient application of automotive products at customer accounts, including collision shops and dealerships
• Troubleshoot product quality issues and implement effective solutions during the paint process
• Assist customers with product selection, application, color verification, and field color formulations
• Support sales representatives and branch operations with technical and marketing assistance
• Develop and implement training aids and provide internal training for distributors and staff
• Manage customer relationships by providing timely attention to comments and complaints
• Maintain accurate records of demonstrations and enter all service calls into the CRM
• Operate company vehicles safely and adhere to all company safety standards

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• 3-5 years of experience working with vehicle refinish processes and products
• Ability to distinguish chromatic colors for paint tinting
• Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs on occasion
• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheets
• Ability to tolerate non-toxic paint odors and wear a respirator as required
• Willingness to travel approximately 75% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field
• Prior sales experience
• Experience in the automotive aftermarket industry
