Technical Services Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support for enterprise hosting platforms within a healthcare environment
• Maintain service stability and resolve incidents across a large-scale infrastructure estate
• Implement changes and perform routine maintenance for VMware, Windows Server, and Active Directory services
• Support core infrastructure components including DNS, DHCP, and Certificate Services
• Manage infrastructure using IT service management frameworks

Requirements

• Experience supporting Windows Server environments in enterprise settings
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
• Experience operating within VMware virtualised environments
• Experience working within an IT Managed Services Environment
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills in production environments
• Familiarity with Citrix, enterprise backup (Commvault), and enterprise storage platforms
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (routing, switching, firewalls)
• Experience with infrastructure scripting or automation

Preferred Qualifications

• VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
• Microsoft infrastructure certifications
• Citrix Certified Associate – Virtualization
• ITIL Foundation
