Technical Services Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 operational support for enterprise hosting platforms within a major healthcare environment
• Maintain service stability by resolving incidents, implementing changes, and performing routine maintenance
• Support a large-scale infrastructure estate including VMware virtualization and Windows Server platforms
• Manage core infrastructure services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Certificate Services
• Work across diverse technologies including Citrix, enterprise storage, and backup platforms

Requirements

• Experience supporting Windows Server environments within large-scale or enterprise infrastructure
• Working knowledge of Active Directory and core services like DNS and DHCP
• Hands-on experience operating within virtualized environments such as VMware
• Proven experience working within an IT Managed Services environment and ITSM frameworks
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills in production infrastructure settings
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (routing, switching, firewalls)
• Experience with scripting or automation for infrastructure tasks
• Ability to work onsite at the customer location at least four days per week

Preferred Qualifications

• VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
• Microsoft infrastructure certifications
• Citrix Certified Associate – Virtualization
• ITIL Foundation certification
• Experience with enterprise backup platforms such as Commvault
• Exposure to Citrix virtual application or desktop platforms
