Technical Service Specialist Core Lab

Responsibilities

• Provide field service support and technical troubleshooting for assigned Core Lab instruments
• Schedule and perform planned maintenance (PM) activities, hardware upgrades, and software upgrades (TSBs)
• Utilize Abbott remote diagnostics tools to provide proactive service
• Perform instrument installations and deinstallations
• Provide first-level assay troubleshooting and support for laboratory middleware (AMS)
• Offer ongoing training and coaching to customers to ensure optimal instrument performance
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to laboratory staff to maximize testing capabilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• Proven track record in a technical service position
• Strong experience using analytical tools and software
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage effectively with laboratory staff
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineering degree in medical, electrical, mechanical, or medical technology
