Technical Service Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support to existing and new customers.
• Manage line trials to support new business development.
• Perform local color or application adjustments to meet urgent customer needs.
• Coordinate regional color updates between various color departments.
• Partner with Area Sales Managers to identify and provide solution-based selling opportunities.
• Conduct plant and process auditing and produce detailed reports for process improvement.
• Investigate and resolve quality-related problems.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key plastics accounts.
• Collaborate with the EMEA technical team to expand knowledge of plastic coating products and application processes.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of both solvent and waterborne paint technology.
• Strong understanding of application, product, and coating technologies.
• Expertise in color matching, shading, and effect differences.
• Fluency in Portuguese.
• Proficiency in Spanish and/or English.
• Excellent time management and self-organization skills.
• Strong communication skills and IT proficiency for creating presentations and data analysis.
