About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide direction and set priorities for technical service operations to ensure compliance with local and corporate policies.
- Manage service technicians and supervisors, ensuring they have the necessary tools, training, and processes to meet customer expectations.
- Oversee new product releases, determining requirements for training, test equipment, spare parts, and manuals.
- Drive deployment of Field Actions (FAs) in a timely manner while managing assigned budgets.
- Partner with commercial leaders to support medical equipment sales and act as a strategic business partner.
- Develop and deploy technical service strategies to enable cost savings and profit-oriented opportunities.
- Monitor and control key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operations, spare parts, quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
- Provide coaching and feedback to staff to ensure ongoing individual and team development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of management experience in international medical device companies.
- At least 5 years of experience in a leadership or senior management role.
- Business-level English communication skills, with the ability to report to an expatriate Director.
- Proven ability to align staff performance with organizational goals and establish performance standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in an engineering or related field.
