About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and integrate all site technical services activities to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of the Orange, Texas facility.
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for Maintenance, Reliability, Inspection, Capital Projects, Turnarounds, and Process Control & Automation.
  • Promote a strong safety culture through visible leadership, process safety discipline, and compliance with HSE and OSHA regulations.
  • Drive maintenance transformation initiatives focused on work process optimization, preventive/predictive maintenance, and SAP PM utilization.
  • Oversee the execution of site capital projects from concept through commissioning.
  • Lead turnaround preparation and execution to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Manage departmental budgets and identify opportunities for cost optimization and lifecycle asset cost reduction.
  • Coach and develop a multidisciplinary team of over 15 employees and contractors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive industrial experience in maintenance, reliability, or technical services leadership.
  • Proven experience within the chemical manufacturing or specialty materials industries.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical integrity, reliability engineering, and asset management.
  • Demonstrated experience managing capital projects and plant turnaround activities.
  • Proficiency with SAP PM or equivalent maintenance management systems.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary technical organizations and contractors.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications aligned with industry standards.
  • Experience with Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and FMEA/FMECA methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Lean/Six Sigma tools and continuous improvement practices.
