Technical Service Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction and assistance regarding the use and application of Axalta products at the customer plant.
• Monitor and adjust product properties such as viscosity and pH value to ensure optimal performance.
• Analyze application parameters and key quality data, including appearance, gloss, and color measurements.
• Perform root cause analysis on product defects and document quality incidents.
• Manage material stock, place orders, and prepare accurate forecast data to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Support the introduction of new products and prepare timely technical reports.
• Represent Axalta in technical customer meetings and collaborate with manufacturing teams to support product quality.
• Enforce all site safety instructions and EHS regulations.

Requirements

• Proven knowledge of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations.
• Deep understanding of Axalta products and various application methods.
• Expertise in key measurement systems, including Wave Scan, color position, gloss, and hardness.
• Strong experience in problem-solving and root cause analysis.
• Demonstrated experience in managing color adjustments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with all levels of the customer organization.
• Ability to work self-motivated within a team environment.
• Flexibility regarding working days, hours, and occasional travel.
