About the role
Responsibilities
- Support and co-manage key academic accounts across the assigned region in collaboration with the Academia Account Manager
- Identify and engage startup incubators and innovation hubs to position Ansys as a primary simulation tool
- Collaborate with technical and pre-sales teams to assist with software demonstrations, evaluations, and training
- Assist in the full sales cycle, including lead generation, qualification, proposal support, and deal closure
- Monitor government and institutional research funding programs to identify opportunities for Ansys adoption
- Maintain accurate CRM records for opportunity tracking, pipeline updates, and sales forecasting
Requirements
- Must be a Saudi National
- 0–18 months of B2B sales experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
- Engineering or Science degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Aerospace, or related fields)
- Foundational understanding of simulation applications such as CFD, FEA, electromagnetics, or multi-physics modeling
- Fluency in both English and Arabic
- Strong communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Willingness to travel within Saudi Arabia and the Middle East
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in university-industry collaboration projects
- Familiarity with regional government initiatives supporting research and innovation
- Existing network within the academic and startup community in the Middle East
- Prior experience selling simulation software (Ansys, Siemens, Dassault Systems, Altair, or COMSOL)
