About the role
Responsibilities
- Support local offices and national customers in design discussions to establish Vertiv as basis of design
- Maintain consistent relationships with key engineering firms within assigned territory
- Evaluate and improve technical selling competency in local sales offices through thermal systems training
- Participate in customer visits, presentations, and account planning efforts
- Represent Vertiv at industry conferences, seminars, and customer presentations
- Provide industry feedback to product managers for product improvements and roadmaps
- Provide escalation support for customer requests and mentor early career employees
Requirements
- 10-12 years of chilled water industry technical experience
- Technical knowledge of HVAC and mechanical building systems and applications
- Proven track record of influencing engineering accounts
- Strong sales presentation and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field
