About the role
Responsibilities
- Sell and support HOMER Pro, Grid, and Front software to engineering firms, developers, and utilities
- Generate new leads through proactive outreach, networking, and industry engagement
- Provide software demonstrations and technical scoping for prospects
- Manage the full B2B sales lifecycle from qualification to closing
- Represent the company as a speaker or panelist at industry conferences and webinars
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine messaging and provide customer feedback
Requirements
- Strong technical background in BESS, microgrids, or distributed energy resources
- Familiarity with energy market fundamentals and techno-economic design
- Proven ability to manage sales pipelines and execute consultative sales strategies
- Experience leading software demonstrations for technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated success in closing complex B2B deals
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience giving professional presentations at industry events or webinars
- Background in engineering, renewable energy, or power systems
- Experience selling into utility, C&I, EPC, or energy developer markets
- Minimum 5+ years of B2B software sales experience
