Technical Sales Specialist

Responsibilities

• Partner with regional sales teams to identify opportunities for bag machine upgrades, retrofits, and modernization projects.
• Evaluate customer production environments and bag converting processes to recommend technical solutions.
• Support the development of technical proposals, scopes of work, and solution concepts.
• Act as a technical bridge between customers, engineering, and operations to ensure successful project execution.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Converting Technologies bag machine platforms.
• Translate customer production challenges into technical requirements for engineering teams.
• Provide field insights and customer feedback to support continuous product improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in technical sales, applications engineering, or industrial machinery support.
• Experience with bag converting equipment, packaging machinery, or flexible packaging manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and machine system designs.
• Willingness to travel 40–50% across North America to customer sites and company locations.
