About the role

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and convert biotech, pharma, and IP accounts through outbound outreach and conferences
  • Partner with the product manager to set and achieve revenue targets
  • Serve as the technical SME on all pre- and post-sale customer discussions
  • Manage active customer projects end-to-end, including status updates and timeline management
  • QC and co-deliver final customer data reports to ensure scientific accuracy
  • Maintain CRM hygiene and pipeline forecasting in Salesforce
  • Represent the company at conferences, webinars, and presentations

Requirements

  • PhD in biological sciences or a related STEM field
  • Prior life sciences commercial experience in BD, sales, or an application scientist role
  • Proven ability to prospect, manage a pipeline, and close deals
  • Ability to translate complex science into value-driven business conversations
  • Comfortable presenting science to discovery scientists, BD leaders, and IP counsel
