About the role

Responsibilities

  • Identify market opportunities and develop relationships with industry contacts
  • Increase company revenue through direct sales to customers
  • Prepare product overviews and perform product demonstrations
  • Attend trade shows and professional meetings
  • Generate repeat loyal sales that meet or exceed annual targets
  • Manage and expand the customer base in the assigned region
  • Prepare aggressive sales budgets and product forecasts

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in technical sales
  • Proven track record of large-scale sales in technology or related industries
  • Ability to learn and understand complex products quickly
  • Excellent presentation and teaching skills
  • Outstanding customer service skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to travel approximately 70-75% per month

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)
  • IMSA certifications (Traffic Signal, Roadway Lighting, etc.)
  • Established connections with city or county agencies
  • Familiarity with transportation infrastructure projects
