Technical Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Generate and execute sales plans within an existing customer base and assigned competitive accounts to meet profit goals
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including plant and facility executives, through a consultative sales approach
• Recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans to meet customer business needs and grow sales
• Provide technical support by performing system analysis, interpreting data, and providing written recommendations to optimize customer operations
• Actively sell Nalco Water innovations and technologies to promote long-term business relationships

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Three years of technical sales or field sales support experience
• Valid Driver's License and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or life sciences (biology, chemistry, etc.)
• Experience in the water treatment or specialty chemical industry
• Working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, wastewater treatment systems, or pulp mill operations
