Technical Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Identify and grow new and existing customer accounts within the North and South Carolina territory
• Conduct outbound communications to both purchasing and engineering departments to identify needs
• Troubleshoot complex customer problems, inquiries, and service requests
• Respond to requests for proposals, quotes, and large order pricing/discounting
• Utilize customer profile data to target high-potential accounts and ensure business fit
• Develop and implement account plans and campaigns to increase market share
• Partner with Marketing and Technical Support to execute strategic territory campaigns
• Perform routine sales travel to visit customers and attend relevant trade shows

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience, preferably in chemical manufacturing or distribution
• Knowledge of Electronics, Aerospace, Transportation, Adhesives, or Contract Manufacturing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience using CRM software
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
