Technical Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Generate and execute sales plans within an existing customer base and assigned competitive accounts to meet profit goals
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including plant and facility executives, using a consultative sales approach
• Perform system analysis and interpret data to provide written recommendations for optimal customer operations
• Provide technical support to identify and resolve customer challenges, escalating issues as required
• Actively sell and support Nalco Water innovations and technologies to promote long-term business relationships

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience in technical sales or field sales support
• Valid Driver's License and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or life sciences (biology, chemistry, etc.)
• Experience in the water treatment or specialty chemical industry
• Working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, softeners, and RO systems
