About the role
Responsibilities
- Generate and execute sales plans within an existing customer base and assigned competitive accounts to meet profit goals
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including facility and plant executives, using a consultative sales approach
- Recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans to meet customer business needs and grow sales
- Provide technical support by performing system analysis, interpreting data, and providing written recommendations
- Identify and resolve customer challenges, escalating technical issues as required
- Actively sell Nalco Water innovations and technologies to promote long-term business relationships
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Technical sales or field sales support experience
- Valid Driver's License and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or life sciences (biology, chemistry, etc.)
- Experience in the water treatment or specialty chemical industry
- Working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, wastewater treatment systems, or pulp mill operations
