Technical Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical solutions to the Inside Sales Team to address customer needs and provide technical consultancy during the sales process
• Provide experienced mentorship and direction to the Core Sales team regarding technical solutions
• Understand and maximize complex multidimensional solutions, explaining how they benefit the customer’s business
• Achieve or exceed sales targets by developing positive relationships with partners, distributors, and executive leadership
• Utilize strategic probing to identify, evaluate, and recommend sophisticated alternative technology solutions
• Advise customers directly on product features, configurations, pricing, and availability via phone, chat, web, or email

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the IT industry
• Technical Certifications: MS Certified (WinSvr Hybrid/Azure Associate), Red Hat RHCA/RHCOP, VMware VCP, Kubernetes CKA, and SNIA SNCP
• Deep knowledge of products, services, industry trends, and competition to effectively position Dell’s portfolio

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or an IT-related solution field
• Additional IT-related certifications
