About the role
Responsibilities
- Own assigned customer communication including requests for quotes, technical questions, and quote extensions
- Provide advice to customers regarding substitute components and options for faster delivery or better pricing
- Develop Bills of Material (BOM) and Routers (labor estimates) to determine sales prices and margins
- Determine delivery schedules by considering component lead times, engineering requirements, and shop labor availability
- Provide pre-sales support by identifying drawing conflicts and offering technical solutions
- Research and communicate special tooling, test mates, and alternate materials to internal teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Two years in a customer-facing role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Strong technical problem-solving and research skills
- Excellent written and oral communication in English
- Financial acumen regarding pricing and cost analysis
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
- Two or more years in the interconnect industry
