Technical Sales Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop new customers and expand market opportunities for Engineering Plastics (PC, PBT, PA, mPPO, TPEE) across North America
• Proactively engage with customers to understand requirements, propose solutions, and strengthen long-term relationships
• Analyze market and industry trends to support effective pricing strategies and maximize profitability
• Oversee and coordinate shipment logistics within SAP to ensure timely and accurate product delivery
• Monitor and follow up on accounts receivable to minimize aging balances
• Conduct market research and provide regular reporting on market conditions and the competitive landscape
• Collaborate with headquarters and cross-functional teams to support business expansion initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required, with a preference for Chemical Engineering
• 5-10 years of experience in engineered plastics, plastics, or chemical/technical products
• Proven track record of success in B2B sales
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the polymer business, particularly working with distributors and suppliers
• Experience in the North American automotive industry
• Korean language skills to support communication with global stakeholders and headquarters
• Familiarity with SAP (ERP systems)
