About the role
Responsibilities
- Identify potential new customers and build relationships with current customers
- Establish, develop, and close business while exceeding sales targets
- Develop strategies for penetrating new accounts and growing relationships with end users and distributors
- Research and understand prospects' business plans and buying processes
- Manage the sales process for focused customers
- Provide timely information on market needs, buying trends, and competitive information
- Support marketing programs, lead generation campaigns, and targeted sales activities
- Responsible for collection of outstanding payments
- Search for and sign up new distributors in various regions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in science
- 4 years of sales experience
- Mandatory experience in Food Industry diagnostic kits sales
- Ability to travel up to 70% of the time
- Proven track record in territory sales and account management
- Ability to work independently as an individual contributor
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA degree
- Experience in the Sea Food Industry
