Technical Sales Executive

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell coatings products to existing and prospective customers across industrial, automotive, marine, and decorative sectors.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities to drive sales growth.
• Recommend suitable coating solutions and specifications based on customer requirements.
• Conduct product presentations, technical demonstrations, and customer training sessions.
• Prepare quotations, manage inquiries, and support contract negotiations.
• Provide first-level technical support regarding product performance, application methods, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with technical, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain regular customer visits, build long-term relationships, and monitor market trends and competitor activities.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and maintain accurate CRM records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Paint Technology, Materials Science, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of technical sales experience within the coatings, paints, inks, adhesives, or specialty chemicals industry.
• Strong techno-commercial aptitude with the ability to manage both technical solutions and commercial discussions.
• Proven ability to work independently in a target-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in specific sectors such as Industrial, Protective, Powder, Automotive, Wood, or Decorative coatings.
• Established professional network with paint manufacturers, coating applicators, OEMs, or distributors.
• In-depth knowledge of coating formulations and manufacturing processes.
