Technical Sales Engineer

Responsibilities

• Document all client inquiries and ensure they are assigned to the correct project numbers
• Prepare cost estimates, technical proposals, and bid bond requirements
• Coordinate with internal departments, including logistics and CMA, to manage mobilization and project costs
• Conduct site surveys in coordination with Operations when necessary
• Maintain and update customer information and sales forecasts within the Corporate EMS
• Ensure all tender documents are thoroughly reviewed to meet client requirements and scope of service
• Identify and communicate potential risks associated with the scope of work to management
• Achieve agreed sales targets and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
• Provide regular daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the Territory Business Development Manager and Sales Manager

Requirements

• BS degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience
• Fluency in French is required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial and technical tender preparations
• Solid technical knowledge of In-Line Inspection (ILI) products and industry standards
• Experience working within the Oil and Gas sector or service-based project companies
• Strong communication, presentation, and computer skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver within refinery or plant environments
