Technical Sales Engineer

Responsibilities

• Document all client inquiries and ensure they are assigned to the correct project numbers
• Prepare cost estimates, technical proposals, and bid bond requirements
• Coordinate with internal departments, including logistics and CMA, during the bidding and pre-qualification stages
• Manage the sales flow by updating customer information, forecasts, and project statuses in the Corporate EMS
• Ensure all tender documents are thoroughly reviewed to meet client requirements and scope of service
• Identify and communicate potential risks associated with the scope of work to the technical sales manager
• Maintain strong customer relationships and achieve agreed-upon sales targets
• Provide regular daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the Territory Business Development Manager and Sales Manager

Requirements

• BS degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial and technical tender preparations
• Solid technical knowledge of In-Line Inspection (ILI) products and industry standards
• Experience within the Oil and Gas sector or service-based project companies
• Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
• Strong communication, presentation, and computer skills
• Ability to work onsite in Switzerland

Preferred Qualifications

• Further qualifications or extended coursework in commercial activities
• Proven selling capability and understanding of commercial organizational aspects
