Technical Sales Advisor

Responsibilities

• Position Wavin as a relevant partner for decision-makers in the stormwater management environment
• Act as a trusted advisor on climate resilience and stormwater management for clients
• Drive the execution of the Urban Climate Resilience (UCR) go-to-market strategy in the country
• Perform technical design and calculations at the project level
• Guide and support the sales team to achieve market position, growth, and profitability objectives
• Proactively seek and realize new business opportunities and build a solid project pipeline
• Utilize CRM to manage the UCR business, update customer accounts, and log face-to-face meetings
• Act as the technical point of contact for the sales team and customers to coordinate requests and solve issues
• Translate legislative texts into business language and value propositions

Requirements

• M.Sc. in hydraulic engineering, civil engineering, stormwater management, water treatment, urban planning, or a related field
• 7+ years of professional technical or commercial experience
• Proven technical background in the design, evaluation, and construction of stormwater management or Urban Climate Resilience systems
• Experience working within engineering companies or end-client engineering teams
• Demonstrated ability to interact with clients on a technical level and a track record of winning projects
• Proficiency with CRM, project management tools, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Fluency in both Hungarian and English
