Technical Revenue Accounting Sr. Manager

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product, Sales, and Engineering teams to deliver go-to-market strategies and address related accounting impacts.
• Provide technical revenue recognition policy guidance on complex accounting programs and strategic transactions.
• Lead the implementation of process improvements to scale the enterprise order-to-cash accounting process.
• Act as the subject matter expert for the revenue module (RevPro), managing data integrity and configuring system logic.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to revenue recognition and reporting.
• Support external audits and maintain SOX-compliant documentation and internal controls.

Requirements

• 8+ years of revenue experience, including a combination of public accounting and industry experience within Enterprise/SaaS.
• Deep understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition guidance.
• Hands-on experience with RevPro (essential) and ERP systems such as Oracle.
• BA/BS degree in Accounting.
• Strong technical writing and research abilities regarding challenging revenue topics.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills; SQL knowledge is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or equivalent professional certification.
• Experience working within a Big-4 accounting firm.
