Technical Regulations and Standards Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage product regulatory compliance activities in Vietnam, including certificate submissions, approvals, and market surveillance.
• Ensure all products conform to safety, EMC, telecom, and energy efficiency regulations.
• Deliver fast and accurate product certification and registration with high cost efficiency.
• Track and manage compliance requirements for multiple projects to ensure alignment with new product introduction timelines.
• Build and maintain interfaces with internal HP business units and external regulatory authorities or test labs.
• Provide clear regulatory requirements and interpretations to R&D, supply chain, and manufacturing teams.
• Manage agency services and test labs while tracking compliance-related costs.
• Support HP engagement with government authorities to advocate for product regulation practices.

Requirements

• 4-7 years of professional work experience, preferably in engineering development, project planning, or a related field.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English and Korean.
• Proven experience in product certification and a strong understanding of EMC, Safety, and Telecom standards and testing.
• A four-year or Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
